| NOVENA TO CHRIST THE KING This novena is to Jesus Christ, to celebrate He is KING, RECITE FOR 9 DAYS: Say (1) Our Father (1) Hail Mary and (1) Glory be per day followed by prayer PRAYER: O Lord our God, You alone are the Most Holy King and Ruler of the nations.. We pray to You, Lord, in the great expectation of receving from You. O Divine King, mercy, peace, justice and all good things. Protect, O Lord our King, our families and the land of our birth. Guard us we pray Most Faithful One. Protect us from our enemies and from Your Just Judgement. Forgive us, O Sovereign King, our sins against you. Jeus, You are King of Mercy. We have deserved Your Just Judgement. Have mercy on us. Lord, and forgive us. We trust in Your Great Mercy. O most awe-inspiring King, we bow before You and pray. May Your reign, Your kingdom be recognized on earth. Amen Almighty and merciful God, you break the power of evil and make all things new in your Son Jesus Christ, the King of the universe. May all in heaven and earth acclaim your glory and never cease to praise you. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen |

| ASCENSION NOVENA This novena is in honor of Jesus Christ returning to heaven RECITE FOR 9 DAYS PRAYER: Jesus, I honor You on the feast of Your Ascension into heaven, I rejoice will all my heart at the glory into which You entered to reign as King of heaven and earth. When the struggle of this life is over; give me peace to share Your joy and triumph in heaven for all eternity. I believe that You entered into Your glorious Kingdom to prepare a place for me, for You promised to come again to take me to Yourself. Grant that I may seek only the joys of Your friendship and love, so that I may deserve to be united with You in heaven. In the hour of my own homecoming, when I appear before Your Father to give an account of my life on earth, have mercy on us. Jesus, in Your love for me You have brought me from evil to good and from misery to happiness. Give me the grace to rise above my human weakness. May Your humility give me courage in my weakness and free me from my sins. Through Your grace, give me the courage of perserverance for You have called and justified me by faith. May I hold fast to the life You have given me and come to the eternal gifts You promised. You love me, dear Jesus. Help me to love You in return. I ask You to grant this special favor *mention your request By Your unceasing care, guide my steps towards the life of glory You have prepared for those who love You. Make me grow in holiness and thank You by a life of faithful service. |
| EXALTATION OF THE HOLY CROSS NOVENA *celebrated on the Feast of the Triumph of the Cross On the feast of the Exaltation of the cross, we honor the Holy Cross by which Christ redeemed the world. People have been venerating the cross since the fourth century when St Helen discovered it on Sept 14, 326, during a pilgrimmage to Jerusalem. The cross was discovered on the same day that two churches built at the site of Calvary by Constantine were dedicated. PRAYER: Jesus, Who because of Your burning love for us willed to be crucified and to shed Your Most Precious Blood for the redemption and salvation of our souls, look down upon us and grant the petetition we ask for... *mention petition We trust completely in Your Mercy, Cleanse us from sin by Your Grace, sanctify our work, give us and all those who are dear to us our daily bread, lighten the burden of our sufferings, bless our families, and grant to the nations, so sorely afflicted. Your Peace, which is the only true peace, so that by obeying Your Commandments we may come at last to the glory of Heaven. |
