| What is a Novena? Novena's are very popular among Catholics. It's a traditional Catholic prayer method. A Novena is when a series of prayers are recited for 9 days for a special intention. A Novena is offered to God as a sacrafice. Several novena's have been approved by the Holy See for Indulgences *INDULGENCE - is a remission before God of the temporal punishment for sins already forgiven. Novena's a private prayers, but are sometimes said in churches for special intentions. |
| HOW TO RECITE A NOVENA: 1. Decide on an intention, you can decide a very specific intention or something general. Decide on something that is important to you or someone you care about. 2. Look through novena's to find the one best for you. 3. Say all the prayers that are listed and required. Don't forget to state your intention |
