| This page is a little review of wines that I tried and enjoyed. I'm no wine expert, but I know how to drink them and I know what tastes good to me. If the wine is listed here it was good enough to recommend to someone. I have yet to find a terrible wine here, of course I also don't drink the rot-gut either. Its really nice to go to the store and buy a bottle of really high quality wine for just three euros. I'm practically broke, but at 2 - 3 eruros for a bottle, even I'll splurge from time to time! I dont even know how many of these beers or wines are available in the States, but if you can find something similar in a fancy wine store you might want to give them a try. Fortunately german beer is becoming more popular in the states and in my last visits I've seen more on the shelves. Even Bobs liquor on Gravois in St. Louis has a great selection of german beer. Just be prepared to pay for it! The beers are all german unless otherwise stated, and the wines are differentiated by white or red, of course, and the countries are displayed on the following pages. |
