The inaugural
"Darren Mooney Memorial Football Tournament" was held on Sunday 18th
June 2006 in Loughlinstown Leisure Centre.
Four teams took
part to win the title and trophy. Each team played each other and the top two
teams played in the Final, with the two
lower teams meeting
in the 3rd place playoff. Fintan's team were the overall winners. We raised
400.00 Euro for "The Diabetic Research Unit" in the Mater
Hospital. Myself and Fintan would like to thank all who took part and helped
