Morals with Stories By Matthew Sidey In my youth, I had a friend who awoke one morning to discover she had a horribly unexplicable fungus on her hand. Each day, it was a little bit larger, an d alittle bit more uncomfortable. So, she called the doctor, and the doctor gave her some medicine to kill the fungus. She said that the medicine made her feel better, but still, each day the fungus continued to grow. Then finally, after months and months, she woke up and the fungus was gone and it never returned. She was so happy. Except, she realised, that it hadn't been on her hand, it had been near her stomach. Also, it wasn't a fungus, but a baby. Moral of the story: Look both ways before crossing the gods. next |
