1.   Payment via Paypal or Money Order only - no personal checks.

2. a non refundable deposit amounting to half of the total owing is due when you ship the model (price will be determined based on work to be done). Only in the event that you have an emergency and I have NOT begun work, I will return your model and payment minus shipping.

3. I prefer to do all prep work. Please see the Prices page for details.

4. Shipping costs are determined by your zip code within the continental USA (priority mail/delivery confirmation/insurance or Express Mail - your choice). For international buyers, I ship only via USPS Global Express Mail which is fast and provides insurance and good tracking. I will not use any other method of shipping nor will I be held responsible for any damages incurred during shipping - these issues must be taken up with the USSPS.   I will do my utmost to pack all models securely to prevent damage.

5. I will not take time payments unless you are a previous customer.

6.   balance owing must be sent before item is shipped (you will have 30 days from date notified to send payment). I will notify you as I approach completion providing you with pictures of the project to work out any possible last minute issues. Photos will be taken to show the model as accurately as possible and I will work with you to tweak it if need be. If you refuse to complete the deal or if I fail to hear from you in any way (phone or email), you forfeit any monies paid to date and I reserve the right to keep the model and sell it at my own discretion.

7.   communication is essential during the process - I demand honesty and open lines (either email or telephone or instant message) during the painting process and I will not ship until item meets the approval of both myself and the customer. Periodic updates via emails, instant message and photos will occur during the painting process.   We can arrange chat sessions via either AIM or Yahoo Instant Messenger or telephone to discuss progress.

8. I will not obliterate the signature of a sculpting artist on a resin.

9. I will not paint over the work of another artist.

10. I reserve the right to use any photographs I take of your piece strictly for my portfolio - either online website or written pamphlet.

11. I will repair any damage to the paint job done by me up to the first year of ownership or due to shipping damage for a fee.

12. You will not be entitled to any form of refund or hold me responsible for any damages incured due to improper care or storage or by alterations made by you or another artist. However I will attempt to fix any repairs but for a fee to be determined after assessment.

13.   After I complete painting, you will be sent final photos to look at. If the piece meets with your approval, I will expect the remaining payment and our deal will be completed.   If you are dissatisfied with the piece once you have it in hand, I will not refund any payment made since issues should have been settled during the painting process. Our business is completed with your approval of the final images and payment is made and model arrives to you safely. If you are dissatisfied with the piece once it is in hand for whatever reason, you may return the model to be stripped and repainted however this will be considered a new deal and you will be responsible for paying fees for time spent stripping, prepping and painting again as well as postage to ship the model back to you.

14. If you have a piece altered in any way by someone other than myself, you will not be entitled to any refunds for damages incurred. I will not be held responsible for damages due to detail work or alteration of paint job by another party or damage incurred by the Post Office.

15.   My prices are firm and non-negotiable.   I will not accept any trades except for things posted on the Wanted page.

16. Failure to complete a transaction after 30 days from project completion will result in my keeping the model and selling it.   I will only allow for extention of payment plan after prior discussion and approval. If you 'disappear' afterwards and fail to complete the transaction, I will sell the model and not refund you any part of price paid and I will also make note of this failure by reporting the issue to the Model-Horse-Transactions group.
