This is where my CAFE FLIERS logo will go
These are the various fliers I designed for the short lived Techno Cafe.  The cafe was originally supposed to be a subsidiary business of Club FTP.  It was going to have cafe style drinks, food, live djs, and high-speed internet cubicles.  Pretty much everything today's "techno junkie" would need after a long day of school or work, to finish off the day on a high note.  Unfortunately plans fell through (for anumber of reasons), and the cafe was forced to take on a new image.  This time it would be a mini club called "WEEKLIES".  Local djs would come and spin the latest beats, while in the back there would be a full service wet bar.  This too was short lived, and WEEKLIES was closed permanently.  All of the following fliers were designed at 300dpi using Photoshop(in CMYK mode) and Illustrator, and printed double-sided in 4-color process (CMYK) onto basic card stock.

This was the first and only flier I made for the TECHNO CAFE.  I had lots of fun doing this one.  It took me a while to find the right images to use as examples of what would be offered, but for the time constraints the ones I used worked quite nicely.  I had originally wanted to use actual menu items that were going to be used in the cafe, but at the time I was working on this... there was NOTHING available for a photo shoot.  Not even tables.

WEEKLIES  Front/Back (Hit the "BACK" button on your browser to return to this page)
The WEEKLIES flier was my last design for Funk Theory Productions.  I had lots of fun doing this one as well.  I got to use my new 3D program for the first time.  Ray Dream Studio 5.  Not really the most popular on the market, I bought it cause I got it for a pretty good deal($64.00).  I couldn't pass that up, pluss I get to learn something new to boot.  There really was no motivation or direction in this design... I just created a whole bunch of stuff and threw it all together into something that I thought looked good.  The back was a spin off of the "teaser" I did back in June.  I just changed the colors, and added different drop-in elements.  I think this version of the back came out better than the original.  And then there was ALL that text they wanted me to squeeze in there.  This back ended up being a nightmear, trying to get it to look right...
