JANUARY 2000

This one really wasn't all me. I had just met these guys one night,
and gave them some ideas of what I would do if I was making a flier. They
ended up e-mailing the file to me, telling me that I should finish it up for
them. This is where it all started.

FEBRUARY 2000 Front/Back

I would have to say I had the most fun on this one. The idea for
the month was space, and I had just learned some new "moves" in
Photoshop. I actually went alittle more overboard than what I had originally
planned. All the planets were drawn in using various gradients,
and the "difference clouds" filter in Photoshop (Click here to see
the raw background for the back panel). So far, I would have to say
Photoshop is my main tool, but there are many other programs I have yet to
fool around with.

MARCH 2000 Front/Back

March's flier was to be pretty simple on the front. We wanted to show
the public what the club was like, before we had use of the website. So
we hired some guys to come in and take some pictures of the club during business.
I think they came out really well. The back was done completely
in Illustrator, shuffling around 35 layers. I have no idea what
I was going for, but I guess it worked. The text ended up being a bit
hard to read though, but it would have been worse had I used the green version
I originally created to celebrate St. Patty's Day.

Rining in the new year. The first anniversary of the ARC/FTP legacy.
This flier was made to sum up all the fliers I created for 2000. Weather
it was a color, theme, or a line of type, this front image has something from
them all. The back was inspired by a sunset I saw that night tied
in with the starburst I made for the front to create an effect of a disappearing
sun. I was quite happy with this back design, mainly because I didn't
use any filters at all.
