Repliforce Personnel Reviews
Corporal American Eagle
Strengths: Subject is a true soldier, as per US Marine tradition. Subject is
also the creator of the current Repliforce motto: 'Repliforce, Fuck Yeah!'
Weaknesses: Subject suffers from temper issues. His dedication to protecting
the united States of America greatly outweigh his dedication to protecting
other parts of the world.
Major Jet Stingray
Strengths: Subject is well liked by his fellow officers and does not appear to
suffer from any serious mental illnesses. He possesses above average combat
abilities. Subject is extremely popular among his comrades and his
subordinates, something that is disappointingly rare among the high command.
Subject's work on Atlantis has been impressive every step of the way, and his
dedication to seeing it thrive has been welcome. It remains to be seen how
viable it is for the long term, however I have calculated the odds to be quite
good. Subject is both a solid combatant and leader.
Weaknesses: Subject tends to appear in terrible and near unwatchable movies
with a minimalist, gimmicky plot, serious pacing issues, little to no thought
behind it, and shallow one-dimensional characters. The box office, however,
appears to disagree with me.
Sergeant Max Armour
Strengths: Subject does not appear to suffer any serious mental illnesses. He
and his ZIKOMO power armour are ofen available for emergency deployment at any
given time. Subject will likely be a fine example of how STARS benefits from
its new arrangement with Repliforce, as his available arsenal of war machines
has been greatly expanded.
Weaknesses: I wish to see Subject grow beyond a mere pilot and soldier. STARS
needs command figures and leaders. I also wish to see what becomes to Subject's
ability to utilize the heavier Repliforce war machines.
Corporal Nurse Owl
Strengths: Subject does not appear to suffer from any serious mental illnesses.
Subject always has a firm grasp of the situation at hand. Her dedication in
seeing things through to the end is impressive. Subject's bedside manners are
above normal. She also possesses a very flexible frame. Subject excels at her
two main medical specialties - full chassis maintenance and lube jobs.
Weaknesses: Subject is a subpar Battle & Chase announcer and a poor
combatant, although her other assets make up for this.
Major Prismatic Spider [Review is dated prior to subject's promotion to
third in command]
Strengths: Subject's return to the Repliforce has been a tremendous advantage
for the Repliforce, particularly during the growing bureaucracy and
administration duties that have occasionally kept General and Colonel busy.
Subject is among the best in the world concerning military engineering and
various scientific applications. This was aptly demonstrated from his creation
of the Ragnarock & Roll concert that ultimately destroyed Ra Moon. Subject
is capable soldier, whether piloting a Ride Armour, commanding an emergency
field medical team, or even operating solo. His versatility and leadership
skills make him my choice for replacing me when I step down as third in
command. Aside from the potential danger listed below, Subject does not appear
to suffer from any serious mental illnesses.
Weaknesses: Subject sometimes overworks himself. My one concern in recommending
him as my replacement is that he may burn out from the demands and pressure of
the job.
1st Lieutenant Shield Shellfish
Strengths: Subject's dangerous paranoia is still unwavering. She excels at
making any location perfectly safe through a multitude of scans and searches.
Subject has remarkably managed to create a fully coded language, including
syntax, context, and intonation all via subtle differences in pitch, volume,
and audial modulation of a single general noise. Subject is dedicated to her
job of protecting lives.
Weaknesses: Subject continues to suffer from family issues. I would prefer that
she invoke the assistance of Repliforce rather than dealing with these issues
herself. Subject has a very high repair budget set aside for her.
Captain Shining Firefly
Strengths: Aside from memory errors which have never appeared while on the job
and which I now believe to be to be an attempt to lull others into a false
sense of security, Subject does not appear to suffer from any serious mental
illnesses. Subject has tremendous experience repairing and upgrading the
Fortress V.
Weaknesses: Aside from the previously mentioned memory errors, below average
combat ability, and an excess of compassion, Subject has no notable weaknesses.
1st Lieutenant Singularity Shrike
Strengths: Subject is a capable soldier and does not appear to suffer from any
serious mental illnesses. Subject has shown himself able to read between the
lines and has strong viewpoints on ethics and what is right.
Weaknesses: Subject has temper issues, most notably when dealing with the
Maverick Attila. Multiple times Commander Spider was forced to order Subject not
to start a brawl when the Mavericks were holding a rally in Able City. I would expect the Subject to be able to
realize when he is simply being baited and respond with logic rather than
emotions.
Major Rush Raccoon
Strengths: Subject shows tremendous dedication and enthusiasm for his job. He
does not appear to suffer from any serious mental illnesses. Subject has taken
an interest in airship command and has shown himself to be relatively capable
in charge of the Valkyrie, as demonstrated by the siege on the Aleutian Base
and other numerous events.
Weaknesses: Subject needs more experience both at command and at politics
rather than take things at face value.
Maverick Hunter Dossiers
Rock "Megaman" Beauregard Light
Subject is a powerful combatant and our best line of defense against threats to
this planet, whether it be external or internal. His diplomatic skills are
impressive. His leadership is legendary, as demonstrated by his ability to keep
such a diverse and mentally instable group of warriors working together for a
common cause. It has also been suggested that he is responsible for pulling the
Hunters out of their recent turmoil. Subject is wildly popular worldwide. Note
that I myself have rarely met with this Subject in person, so most of my
information is from secondhand sources and reports.
Dr. Pavel Alexis Cossack
Subject is a brilliant weapons engineer and scientist. He is also a realist,
something that is refreshing to see in the Hunter organization. He appears
willing to see the larger picture and understand the consequences of things.
While some believe Subject to be infallible and undefeatable, it became clear
to me that in the Maverick Hunters, it is Dr. Light that commands the most
respect and authority above all others. Subject is one that always seems to
have an 'ace up his sleeve'. He is usually prepared for any contingency, and
his dedication to his job is admirable, as demonstrated by his medical work in
Tent City shortly following his battle against Ra Moon in the Cyclops.
Blues "Protoman" Light
The following is a brief account of my involvement of Subject's latest
incident:
Overall, Subject is arrogant and overly confident of himself. His belief that
he could single-handedly infiltrate Ra Moon's organization without informing
anyone else is a fine example of this. Subject also suffers from dangerous
mental issues. He is quite capable of appearing sad one moment and belligerent
the next. I confess I am not able to tell when Subject is acting or is showing
genuine emotion. I do not know if he truly is sorry about his actions or if he
is simply playing everyone for fools. My hypothesis is the latter, however.
Either way, Subject has successfully managed to escape a public investigation
into what happened.
Dr. Thomas Xavier Light [There is a link here to the Protoman timeline,
above]
Subject is the most powerful individual on the planet - possibly of all time.
He is incredibly intelligent and kind, but is also deeply flawed. Subject's
immense power has never been more aptly demonstrated than during our final
[there is an editable note at this word, just in case the word 'final' ever
needs to be corrected] war with Ra Moon] Subject's diplomatic skills also
presented themselves when he successfully managed to get Alpha and Shuseki
Ijuin to cease their hostilities against one another.
Subject's scientific genius was shown by his use of the Stardroid Pendants to
create the trap that was used against Ra Moon. Quite frankly without his
assistance the world may have been destroyed, and this is not something to be
taken lightly or ignored. This is only one of many examples of his ability to
use science and technology for the benefit of the world. He is the father of
sentient AI and has made many groundbreaking discoveries in a variety of
fields. Subject's full scientific resume is well documented and I will not
bother to list them all [there are links to various dossiers on Light's scientific
accomplishments here]. Dr. Light's brilliance is an asset that we may not be
able to survive without.
It is Subject's political power and his misguided acts of compassion towards
his family that gravely concern me, however. His ability to essentially get
Protoman off the hook was incredible, as well as his ability to stand up to
other elements within the Hunters that disagreed with him. Both Dr. Cossack and
the President of the United States dared not get in his way. Beyond Subject's
immense power is a misguided ethical belief system. The Hunters as an
organization suffer from it. It is their primary flaw: The Maverick Hunters do
not care about the average citizen.
A threat against thousands of helpless citizens is hardly a concern for them. A
threat against one of their own is immediately their top priority. Unless they
belong to the Maverick Hunter organization and/or (even more important) are
related to Dr. Light, their value is limited. When Protoman kills nineteen
soldiers, murders two innocent humans in cold blood, very nearly destroys the
Fortress V, causes the death of hundreds in Able City and Giga City, not to
mention the others that perished because we, the Repliforce, were too wounded
to protect them, it barely registers in Subject's mind. His only concern is
rescuing his own flesh and blood. Those same victims are then denied the chance
for justice, again due to Subject. However when someone harms Roll, a single
individual however tragic it may be, the Hunters will consider this a far worse
crime than the death of hundreds of others - all of whom had the same right to
life as that one individual. All of whom had their own families that will miss
them.
Note however that I am fully aware of the difficult balancing act that we, as a
world, have to manage. However injust Subject'sMaverick Hunters may be, we also
need them to survive. The Repliforce has, historically, proven itself
capable of defeating both the Coalition and the Robot Masters separately.
However faced with three threats all at the same time, we need their
assistance. Thus, we are forced to make the difficult decision of allowing the
Hunter injustice or moving to correct them. Since the latter leads to ruin, we
have no choice but to choose the former. It is an imperfect solution, and one
which I fear will eventually catch up with us, but currently there is no other
way. Both Subject and the Maverick Hunters are too large of an asset to give
up.
Despite Subject's flaws, there is little doubt that the world would be a worse
place were he to disappear.
Auto
Subject is a security risk for the allies, and in particular Repliforce. I
refer to his slip that informed Protoman that Repliforce had taken over the
remains of his cabin and deciphered his journals. Thankfully, despite Protoman's
reported "furious" state upon hearing the news, he did not have time
to come kill us all.
Axl
Subject is portable and can be compacted into a 3x3 shipping crate for easy
transport.
Alpha
Subject is belligerent and suffers from insecurity issues. It may be a symptom
of the Maverick Hunters' less strict chain of command, where honour and the
respect of your peers means more than a simple rank. Regardless, her fear of
being left out of command decisions has caused friction in her duties as the Maverick
Hunter representative for Basilisk Station. I refer to the conflict that arose
between her and Scitech CEO Shuseki Ijuin, where Subject perceived that Shuseki
had overstepped his bounds by not seeking her approval over matters. As well I
refer to an incident where she took great offense when I sent a message to the
Hunter Chain of Command - SA Class and higher - regarding adding Scitech to the
allied space station. I had expected that Hunter Command would filter the
report to those they felt should be informed, however Subject felt I should
have gone to her directly. Subject can usually be calmed and reassured of her
security, however.
