Here it is: the coveted Top Ten Movie List according to the renowned expert...me. Anyone who wants to can also send in their top ten lists and I will post them (below mine, though, of course :)). Without further ado, here is the List.

| 9 | NEW | American Pie 2 | American Pie 2 kinda got a raw deal from me the first time around. When I saw it in theaters I felt it was unquestionably the best movie of the year and possibly funnier (though not quite as good) as the original. The next week I saw J&SBSB, which good as AP2 was, couldn't compare to. Finally with the DVD release of AP2 I'm giving it some more attention. | 9 |

| 2 | Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back | An extremely funny and at times witty movie. Without seeing the other movies in the series this movie could be enjoyed as just another funny movie and it would probably only rank a 5 or so but with seing the others in the series u will see why this movie is higher than the ungodly funny Baseketball. My favorite quote for this movie is "Word yo Phantoms like a Mother Fucker!" |
| 3 | Baseketball | No that isnt a spelling error....at first I was hesitant about watching this movie but after hearing that Matt Stone and Trey Parker were in it I decided to watch it with my brother. It soon became evident that this movie was one for the record book. In a time when profensional sports is a joke, two men invent a game for the average man to play. The game becomes famous and so do they...eventually the villian Baxter Cain (BWHAHAHA) tears the twos friendship apart and the conflict begins. It could be said this is one of the greatist love stories of all time....just kidding. This movie has so many funny things hapening at once all the time that you have to watch it many times to catch everything. This is another extremely funny and awesome movie it ranks only slightly below JSBSB. My favorite quote off of the movie...this is hard there are somany quotable parts oh well I guess this would be it.

| 4 | Clerks | This movie was the first one that Kevin Smith ever made....in fact he wrote, acted in, and directed it . In order to finance this film Kevin Smith maxed out all of his credit cards. This movie's premise doesn't sound all that interesting. The concept of the movie is simply following the day of 1 man who works in a convenience store and his friend. This movie however is an extremely quick witted movie. This movie often relies on irony for its comedy. For example some guy at the begining of the movie convinces alot of customers to boycott cigarets. In fact he even starts a riot .... however when the clerks girlfriend comes in and SHE breaks up the riot. You soon find out that the guy who started the riot is a Chewley's gum representative and he started the riot to convince people to buy their gum instead of cigerates. However the true irony comes in moments later when all the rioters have left except one. He casually strolls up to the counter and mutters "I'll have a pack of cigarettes. My Favorite Quote From the Movie "Thirty-Seven!!!!.........Try not to suck anydicks on they way through the parking lot. (To a guy who immediately starts walking in her direction) Hey Hey you get back here." |
| 5 | A Time To Kill | This movie is about a man in the 1940's or 50's in Missippipi I think. When his 8 year old daughter is raped decides to take justice into his own hands and kills the man who raped her. The only thing is he is a black man. What follows is a series of riots, mob lynches, hate crimes and a murder trial that sets a small town in Missisippi on fire. The court battle is one that puts this small towns values on trial in this emotionally stiring movie. I am very very tempted to rank this higher but I just cant bring my self to bump any of the other movies down. A Time To Kill stars Matthew McConaughey, Sandra Bullock, Samuel L. Jackson, Kevin Spacey, Oliver Platt, Ashley Judd, and Kiefer Sutherland. This movie is a must see. |
| 6 | Fallen | This movie is truly original and somewhat creepy movie with an ending that you will NEVER FORGET! This movie also make the song "Time on My Side" the creepiest song ever. With an all star cast Denzel Washington, John Goodman, Donald Sutherland, this movie is a must see. |
| 7 | Dante's Peak | Dr. Harry Dalton discovers that Dante's Peak, which has recently been named the second most desirable place to live in America, is being threatened by a volcano that hasn't been live for four years. This movie came out at the same time as Volcano and Liar Liar. Volcano, although it didnt make my list, is an extremely good movie. This movie doesnt have a whole lot of memorable quotes but is awesome none the less. |
| 8 | Dogma | Another Kevin Smith Classic. Because of this movie he got many threats, heck he even got death threats before the movie was realesed. This movie doesnt mock god but mocks religeon and religious fanatics. However, after a short while it should be clear that this movie is a comedy and should not be taken seriously...heck they have a giant foam poop monster as a bad guy for a few minutes. This movie stars many many people....and they are....Ben Affleck; Matt Damon; Linda Fiorentino; Goerge Carlin; Salma Hayek; Jason Lee-who I am convinced one day will be a mega star; Jason Mewes-the character Jay for all the Kevin Smith movies; Kevin Smith-Writer Directer, Actor; Alan Rickman-A top-of-the-line English actor; Chris Rock- A funny ass comedian; Alanis Morissette- A canadian singer....is god?; and Janeane Garofalo. This movie is packed with stars and comedy. Check this out. |
