Whats this 'Trigun' then?
Ah, you've stumbled accross a webpage about an Anime. Thats Japanese animation. Trigun is one of many many many animes, but its my favourite series that I've seen.
Whats it about ?
Vash the Stampede is a $$60,000,000 wanted man. There are over 100 Vash-related claims that are plauging the Bernedelli Insurance company, who send out two investigators; Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson for 24 hour surveillance. But thats the least of Vash's problems, with bounty hunters after the hefty reward on his head. Is Vash really the culprit of all these problems? Who is he?
Sounds black and white...
It isnt at all. Trigun provides a strong plot later on, with very likable characters, and an excellent use of comic relief and seriousness. Vash is one of the most unique characters you'll see, he's hilarious at times, at others a deadly serious gunman. I found as I watched more and more, it became more compelling, providing me with one of my favourite tv moments ever...
Its not like pokemon or any of that crap is it?
Oh god no. NONONONONO. About a million miles away. Otakus (people that watch anime) tend to regard pokemon/digimon as non-anime, as its often associated with the look, even though it technically is, it gives it a bad name ;) Trigun features the odd pool of blood, headshot and murder, so isnt really for children anyway.
Result. Might give it a go then. Where do I get it from?
Depends where you live. In the USA, where most here visitors come from, Pioneer distribute the official DVDs, so look any online store that sells DVDs. They tend to be quite expensive, and people such as myself have resorted to buying Hong Kong DVDs from ebay, as they are much cheaper. The only disadvantage is that they are subtitled only, but most people tend to agree that original Japanese voices are better anyway (the american dubs are actually quite good though). If you are STILL a cheap sod, go download episodes from Morpheous or something, though quality, download time and morality (tsk, yeah right) are the disadvantages.

I'm pretty much into swimming, music, being lazy, anime, the net, moogles (kupo), and videogames (I have pretty much every console out. Mostly into RPGs, particularly Final Fantasy ;) My previous website projects involve a couple of FF sites (current is Final Fantasy Source (or DMCFF though has been long abandoned), but I recently started being a bit of an otaku, and found Trigun was just awsome...I got the series on DVD and watch it lots :) So, this a little site I manage on my vaio, hoping to update regularly and expand gradually...
