One would think that this would have been my easiest pregnancy and in all likely hood a smooth delivery. So not true. This child almost killed me, if nothing else it at least felt like he was trying to, my biggest child if I remember correctly. Not that I am complaining mind you, just simply stating a fact.
It was after his birth that I decided it was in my best interest to get myself fixed. Often times I simply say that I closed the baby factory.
Now, I guess he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his brothers before him. He had an extended hospital stay due to jaundice. He even got his own personal tanning bed (that is what we called it anyway). It was a regular bed that they use for infants, only they had UV lights hooked up overhead. The UV lights are what is used to fix the jaundice.
Andrew was released with in a week and came home with me. His father would come to visit on a regular basis. It didn�t take long to get Drew on a regular schedule for the most part. About the only thing that interfered in that was his bout with Colic.
Due to circumstances beyond my control, it became apparent that it was in my son�s best interests to have him go stay with my parents for a while. Again, a tough decision, but a necessary one none the less.
He is a very healthy and active child, and it is abvious in appearance and behavior that is definately my son.
