Next I installed my inverter onto the fenderwall with velcro. I have plugged in my usb hub ac adapter and my laptop's ac adapter (the ac adapter was temporary until my compaq original dc to dc power supply arrived, and then it was wired into the red wires sticking out on the picture of the devices on the last page)

I also drilled a small hole and mounted a lapel microphone next to my visor to pick up my voice for voice activation software and GPS commands.

With Light running out on saturday I took one last picture of the computer in the glovebox with the unpowered usb hub (which has the usb cable for relay, usb to powered hub, and touch screen usb plugged in leaving one plug free in the front for jump drive or digital camera...)

For now thats all I have for pictures. I have done much tweaking on the system, but havn't been happy enough yet to take final pictures of the install. Weather has been terrible too, I don't dare put the top down for much time or you'll get rained on... even when its sunny.

I'll post pictures with the final install as soon as I get them.

Currently I'm waiting for phase 2 on the shroud around the radio, and for the lilliput backlight upgrade that is being fabricated by some really awesome guys on mp3car.com Check these guys out, without them this project would have been much more difficult.

If you have questions or comments about this install/system, please feel free to email me at [email protected] try to put carpc install or something in the subject so I don't just delete it.
