Next a nice Business Class Compaq Armada M700 was chosen for its sleek and sturdy chassis, as well as its 4 hour + battery life, and noted reliability.
Slight modifications were made to the Armada to allow for remote control of its power functions. A small wire harness was utilized to connect to the lid switch, power button, standby button, and system fan.
