| Gourry is Lina's main companion in Slayers. He "rescues" her one day, and decides that Lina could use a bodyguard. He is known for being an air head (not the brightest crayon in the box) and a master swordsman, and carries around the legendary Swordof Light which slew the great beast Zanaffar, an item Lina often tries to steal or "persuade" him to give to her. He is very protective of Lina, although he teases her about her under development a lot and likes to patronize her. |
