At the moment, Dleimar Sport Horses is only a name. As a new player in Riata, we currently do not have our own facilities. We are currently using the fabulous facilities at Paragon Sport Horses, which is proving to be a great home base for us. Paragon has several very nice arenas and a cross country course that has been fabulous for schooling.

At the moment, we are focused on eventers of traditional breeds. We would like to keep our focus on eventers with a few dressage horses and jumpers on the side. I also enjoy placing unconventional breeds in events, and I've got some plans for a few oddballs. We'd like to bring our young eventers to the CCI**** level, and eventually take some homebreds to the top as well. However, I'd like to keep DSH a primarily competition based barn.

When DSH becomes qualified for a main barn, we would love to move to our home state of Washington. Washington is blessed with beautiful scenery, and while it's wet and cold in the winter, summers are mild and pleasant. It makes for a wonderful place to ride, as the horses don't get too hot or affected by extreme humidity. Washington is full of horse enthusiasts, and there are plans to build a four star cross country course in the area.

You can call me Marisa. I live in the fabulous state of Washington across the street from a state park dedicated to equestrians. We own two retirees, one aged 27 and the other is nearly 33 years old. They still go on trails, and can do the ocassional dressage show. I also ride at a pretty big barn in our area, and while I don't have my own competition horse, I have done pretty well with school horses. Recently we've trained a really talented young Andalusian/Percheron, and I won a combined training test with her our first show together. I would love to event in the future, after I get my own horse.

In addition to horses, I enjoy the model horse hobby, graphic design, and photography. At school, my favorite subjects are math and history. I have no idea what I want to do in the future.
