Wayne Co, NC marriage record indicates Robin Hood Manley was the son of Effel Manley. It states that Robin's bride was Mary Adams daughter of J.R. and Annie Adams. Note that we believe "Effel" to really mean "F. L".

Wayne Co, NC certificate indicates Mary Annie Adams was the daughter of John R. Adams and Annie L. Boyette.

Atlas S. Bagwell's birth date (Dec 9 1846) and date (Dec 16 1889) were obtained from his tombstone in Goldsboro, NC's Willowdale Cemetery.

Richard Manly's death date (29 April 1887) was obtained from his tombstone in Goldsboro, NC's Willowdale Cemetery. He was "Aged 76 years."

Atlas Stanton Bagwell, son of Green Berry Bagwell and Ann C. King, was born December 9, 1846. He married Susana Hood on November 8, 1865. Susana was born March 26, 1848 and died October 5, 1920. Atlas Stanton Bagwell died December 16, 1889. Atlas Stanton Bagwell and Ann C. King's only child Mattie Corine Bagwell was born September 10, 1870. She married F. L. Manley on May 14, 1890. F. L.
