| In 1992, EAA announced the creation of the Young Eagles Program as a result of a member survey that stated 92% of respondents felt EAA's #1 priority should be to get more young people involved in Aviation. The mission of the Young Eagles Program is to provide meaningful flight experience to young people ages 8-17. The rides are offered free of charge through the generosity of EAA members worldwide. |
