My first introduction to house music was in the early nineties.
I got totally hooked onto its unorthodox character, the air of mystery surrounding it, and its incredible energy.  In 1996 I started dj-ing, mostly house and techno.  Eventually I got more interested in techno, which remains to be my main style at the moment. The thing I like about it most is that there are very few rules to how a record should sound, hence the wide variety of artists and dj's that produce and play it.

My style is relatively broad. I don't focus on one sound in particular. I've been heavily influenced by the quirky sounds of Neil Landstrumm, Subhead and Si Begg. But I also have a fondness for the warmth of Dan Curtin and Orlando Voorn, accompanied by the deepness of Sleeparchive. I try to incorporate all in my sets, depending on the time and place.

Production

I've always been messing around with keyboards and midi sequencing. Around 2002 I started producing tracks using software only. I use cubase for producing and ableton for performances. The quirky edge of my record collection has definitely influenced my productions, but I also like to venture into more moody, atmospheric territories from time to time. Check the audio section for some recent live-sets.
