| 5:15 p.m. - UGH....I know, I know. I would have been updating my Journal had I not been dealing with the lovely Christmas Shoppers!! Saturday, it took us 1/2 hour to find a spot to park at WalMart. Then we ended up in there for an hour to buy around $100 worth of stuff. The majority DVDs. We got stuck on the DVD isle. It was horrendous! Then we're standing there, off to the side and some lady comes running by and slams her cart into the side of us, says she's sorry and runs off in another direction. And I realized that EVERYONE with a kid uses that child as a weapon. Especially if they are in a stroller. They push the stroller out in front of anyone walking by. Of course, you're not going to run over a child, so what can you do? I can't wait 'til I have 'em....that's all I'm gonna say. Then it took us another 30 minutes to get out of the WalMart parking lot. Then we went to the Mall. I'm not even going to talk about that. I'm trying to block it from my mind. And I'm not even done! Oh...and I had to spend the weekend cleaning up my machine because someone has been tampering with it. We'll just call him Brandon. Or at least that's what his computer name was. Now I've got all this software designed to keep people out. I was down to 160 mb of hard drive space. I cleaned out some files and got rid of a pesky virus and *zap* now I have a whole gig free. Well, I'm off to brave the mall again. I have to pick something up for our gift exchange at work tomorrow. See ya! |
