The message of secularism I spread, Let all India get food and bread,
Riots, here happen so often, Why do we fight for our religion?
When all religions teach us to be one! Let us shun all cruelty,
Let’s show the world our country’s nobility.

There may be mountains of silver and gold,
But love’s wealth is untold!
This changed country should have ,
Streams which murmur songs of love.
No greed, no hunger, of money, of jewels
Such should be our country,

Let us on this Republic Day Dream a dream of a new place,
A happy peaceful country,
This should always be our aim.
