This is the earliest turning point in my life. Because it was here, as a 10 year old, I read about a poor, skinny, old man, named Gandhi. I wondered, why such one as this, was revered by many. I tried to copy him, but it was hard to speak the truth all the time. And meat tasted great...however, I gave up meat for the first time in my life...I resumed and gave up meat-eating manytimes later.

The first step into spritual journey started as a 10-year old, when I and my sister, attended a Bala Vikas ( Spiritual Growth for Children ) class, organized by Sathya Sai Organization. This org., is a non-profit spiritual and service based organization. And it derives its leadership from a God-man, Sathya Sai Baba( I dont belive in him now), who preaches Monotheism. This God-man's teachings laid the foundation for my spiritual growth.

I was 13. I 'd not mind swearing, using foul words, inspite of my spiritual craving. Something shocking (Read Story) happened, due to which I 'd be falsely charged at school. And later awarded with 50 whips. The school principal asked me to react while he whipped me. But I wanted to blindly try Gandhism.

After this incident, many kids started calling me Gandhi. This incident put my faith in resisting, strongly, with pain and suffering. But may U not misunderstand that I am a complete passifist...for I think that sometimes limited force is necessary.
