Sarracenia is probably the nicest genus in Spring, especially when you realize how much all your plants have grown in a year. They are really intersting because they grow relatively fast, they are pretty, and the species are really different from one to another.

S.flava var. cuprea

S.minor

We grow our Sarracenia outside from April to November and in a greehouse in winter. We keep S.purpurea ssp purpurea outside the whole year. Where we live in Switzerland , the temperature can go down  to -22 degrees (Celsius)
