Our plant as it was in Autumn 2001 when we got it.

It's quite a "big" Drosera (a little bigger than D.aliciae), which can turn more red than on this photo, but will always keep the particularity to have green leaves.
It grows in the Cape region,  often with some other species like Drosera cistiflora, Drosera curviscapa, Drosera glabripes et Drosera trinervia
.

In an article from Dionée (fench association) and in the Database, it's said that Drosera curviscapa var. esterhuysenae and Drosera aliciae are synonyms, but we personally doubt about it as we can see some differences between both species (as long as the plants are correctly identified ;-).

An offshot that we transplanted in pure sphagnum ; in very little time, it reached the adult size.

The plant, two years later and as you can see... with lots of divisions
