N.ampullaria is a unique lowland species. It can be found until 1100m above the sea level. This species is widely spread (Borneo, Sumatra, Malaysia, Thailand) and was already described in 1835 by Jack.

N.ampullaria is a really easy grower and I would truly recommend it. However, it doesn't like drops of humidity !

It varies very much in colours, so it is nice to have a few forms of that species !
