Nepenthes adnata is a lowland species from Sumatra. The species is found at altitudes of 100m to 1000m in shady areas. It is quite a small Nepenthes, once it reaches a diameter of 15cm, it will start to climb and produce upper pitchers.
The pitchers can reach 12cm
I've noticed that N.adnata is a species that produces basal shoots.

Nepenthes adnata is not difficult to grow. It shouldn't be exposed to direct sunlight.
It grows well in lowland conditions, but I prefere to grow it in intermediate conditions.
I grow it in pure LFS

All plants photographed in this section are from Oly Marthaler
