Select from the listWe have prepared a process document that details how we have built these files. If you want to assist with the project then download the process document as well as the Windows version of Tomeraider. The source is based on an extraction from the CD-Rom and processed in an Editor, do not use notepad, as it is really slow. I personally use the Visual Studio .net Editor We have written a processing exe that performs basic replace type processes on the source text files, this is much faster than cut and paste, or manual editing. Due to the complexity of both the process and the program, I have not posted the program or the source on this site. If you have used VB.Net and would be able to edit the code, then email us at [email protected] for details of how you can get a copy of the program or source code. It would be best to start with something like a brochure, remember to send me the text source and not the final TR file. That way I can add it to the library and keep all the source in one place. Then once you have the hang of it and if you want we can write a updated version of the process document, as well as the Process exe to create the larger publications.
There has been a request to create this library in Spanish. We have been in contact with some of the users and hope to have something soon. We would then make a separate page for Spanish downloads. Let me know which book/ brochure you want to do and I will set it as 'coming soon' on the site, this encourages others to return as well as tells those who want to assist what is currently under development. If someone would like to expand the library and port it to their language I would be willing to host these files on this site. Please contact us for details with regard to this request As the text of this project is based on the CD-Rom, we do not mind if others assist with the project. Thus if you would like the current source I can burn this onto a CD-Rom and sent it to you via post or air- mail. The current library with source code etc is around 50 Mb. |
