| August 1997 to Spring 2002 |
| Switching gears from the working life in San Francisco, CA to student life in Richmond, VA has been quite an experience. Not only did I have to sit through lectures and study again, I also found that culturally the two regions were different. Richmond is like being in Sacramento with a twist of the South. It's not the deep south but south enough where they say y'all. Unlike the cement laden San Francisco, thanks to the four seasons, it is very green and lush which = lotsa mosquitos and bugs! I've been able to venture out and do the "nature thing" like hike and bike and watch the leaves change color. |

| My house comes complete with a half great aunt by marraige next door!! When I get the chance I will take a stroll down the block to the James River which has class III rapids. |

| Van and Neda are my best friends from school. For the two years we were all in Richmond we spent most of our waking hours together. Now Dr. Van is in Maryland and Neda is in DO school in Iowa. |
