| On October 21, 1971 I was born in Sacramento, California. My father worked in a grocery store and my mother was a bookkeeper/cannery worker. I was fortunate to have an older brother, Edward, and sister, Peggy; and 6.5 years later a little brother, David. Pretty much I was raised to go to school, and have done so for all but 6 years of my life 1976: Started kindergarten at Riverside School in Sacramento, CA 1989: Graduated from C.K. McClatchy High School in Sacramento, CA 1991: Graduated from American River College with an Associate in Science 1993: Graduated from U.C. Davis with a BA in Chemistry and Minor in Enviromental Toxicology 1997: Received a Certificate from U.C. Berkeley Extension in Site Assessment and Remediation 2002: Graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a PhD in Pharmcology and Toxicology 2006: I hope to Graduate from University of Nevada Reno with a Masters in Business Administration Workwise, I've had the opportunity to explore pretty much every facet of the sciences/health sciences: 1988-1989: Pharmacy Clerk at North Highlands Pharmacy 1989-1993: Pharmacy Technician at Sutter General and Mercy General 1993-1997: Human health risk assessor at PRC Environmental Management, Inc (now Tetra Tech EM Inc) 2002-present: Preclinical Research Scientist at Charles River Laboratories |
