About this site....

This site is my first attempt at HTML and making a web site. It is part of a college course that I am doing at Wilmortan college, Derby, in the U.K. I picked this topic because I really like both games ( I do like Cataclysm!!) and I hoped that this subject would be of some interest to the people examining my work! I hope to make some sort of career out of the course, as I am a plumber at the minute and feel the need for a change, so this is a possible move to something that I enjoy doing and get great satisfaction from doing. Please feel free to let me know what you think but remember this is my first attempt at this sort of thing!

To complete the assignment on HTML I had to create a web site that would cover the following criteria:

  1. Use a HTML editor to edit, save and delete.
  2. Save files with either a .htm or .html extension
  3. Use basic tags, structure them correctly on the page, (HTML, TITLE, HEAD and BODY)
  4. Use different size fonts to present your work
  5. Use different coloured fonts to present your work
  6. Use different style fonts to present your work
  7. Use alignment tags
  8. Create alink using a (A HREF) tag, to a second page
  9. Include images such as .jpg, .bmp or .gif
  10. Create a link to an existing web site using text and Create a link using an image
  11. Create a link to an email address
  12. Utilised the list function
  13. Change the background of at least one page
  14. Include a link to the top of the page
  15. Using,TABLE,TR and TD tags to create a table
  16. And upload the site to the web
