Eulinda, Amethyst cried and hugged her friend.
Amethyst, are you okay? Eulinda asked.
Yes, Im fine. And Ill be staying with you for awhile. Amethyst said.
    Really? Eulinda questioned Dumbledore.
Yes, really Dumbledore responded. He introduced Amethyst to all of the teachers then explained why Amethyst would be staying. Amethyst will need to use certain classrooms to do her work in. Tomorrow, she will simply follow Eulinda around and choose which rooms she wishes to stay in. Wednesday, she will start on her lesson plan. By her only using one or two classrooms, she wont be disrupting a different class everyday.
Well, she is certainly welcome to use my classroom. Professor McGonagall said. There was a chorus of agreeable sounds.
Is there anyone who would mind her being in their classroom? Dumbledore asked. Amethyst noticed that almost every eye shifted to Professor Snape. There was a short pause and then Madam Hooch spoke up.
None of us have a problem with it. I only wish I had a classroom to offer her.
Thank you very much. Amethyst said to all the teachers.
Amethyst, you should follow Eulinda up to the Gryffindor tower. Your things will have already been brought up. Oh, I will ask you to stand up at dinner tonight, so that I may introduce you to the school as a whole. That should take care of most rumors.
Okay. Amethyst nodded. Eulinda grabbed Amethysts hand and dragged her into the hallway.
I cant believe youre here. Were going to have so much fun. We can sit together at meals and on the weekends we can hang out. We can watch Quidditch games, and maybe even practice. Ill teach you how to play wizard games, like Exploding Snap. My friends will absolutely love you! Eulinda took a breath. Youll get to meet all my teachers tomorrow. Ill help you choose which ones to stay with if you want.
That sounds okay. Will I have to memorize the house password? And what about your uniform. What should I do about that? Amethyst fired all her questions.
Yes, youll have to memorize the password. You should just wear your everyday clothes. Eulinda said as she lead Amethyst up yet another flight of stairs. So far every person that they had passed had openly stared at Amethyst. They came to a stop in front of a portrait of a rather large woman. Inky Plonkus Eulinda stated. The portrait smiled and swung open, revealing the Gryffindor common room.  The conversations inside stopped the minute Amethyst stepped in. Everyone, this is Amethyst Waters. Yes, she is a muggle. Shes fifteen and is my best friend. Dumbledores going to explain her presence tonight at dinner. Eulinda said dragging Amethyst towards the girls dormitory.
Bye! Amethyst waved over her shoulder. Amethyst dumped her stuff on the bed that her suitcase was in front of.
This is my bed. Eulinda pointed to the one across from Amethysts. They heard the portrait open downstairs and the conversations slowly filter out. Wed better get down to the Great Hall. They walked in silence. There was a different, speculative type of silence when Amethyst entered the Great Hall.
