Biography --->
Dragons Realm is a superb stallion with fantastic SIM bloodlines. His sire is an own son of Equine Esteems famed King Arthur, and his dam is a Divine Equestrian mare, with great racing bloodlines and a history of producing race-winners. Dragons Realm has not garnered himself the fame of stallions such as Prizefighter, Shy From Life, and Tianoshikoie Pride, but he has proven himself a great stud and he has a stellar race record to his name.
As a racehorse, Dragons Realm was Horse of the Year at the Windy Acres track, and ran a game second in the Kentucky Derby, after which he was retired. Dragons Realm never raced out of the money, and earned himself thousands of dollars whenever EE racing was not offering giant purses. Dragon became very well-known on the track until he was retired, after his awesome close in the Derby.
As a sire, Dragon has not had much of a chance to prove himself. He has very few foals, and the few that he does have have not been given the opportunity to race, or they are not of racing age, which is a shame because I feel strongly that he would be a more popular sire.
Dragon was also coming along as an eventing horse, until a tragic injury in his paddock caused retirement. We are simply glad that he could be saved after breaking his leg under the bottom board of the fence. Dragon is athletic, has great conformation, and a superb attitude making him an excellant candidate for a stallion.
Standing for the remainder of 2003 at $1000.oo
