Ms. Bell
   Ms. Sheily Bell has been teaching for 30 years in Ascension Parish. She has been the Director of Bands for the last 16 years at East Ascension Sr. High.
   An average of 80-100% of her graduating seniors going on to college each year receive band scholarships, some with full tuition. Her band has participated in the Loyola Invitational Festival in New Orleans under the direction of retired Col. John Bourgeois . Her top ensemble, The  Symphonic Winds, was selected to perform in Washington, D.C the spring of 2000. 
Throughout her career, Sheily’s bands have consistently received super- ior ratings at both district & state festivals. She has conducted honor bands & adjudicated throughout Louisiana & parts of  Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, and Arkansas.
   Ms. Bell received her BME & Masters+30 from LSU. She holds memberships in NBA, LBA, LMEA, Phi Beta Mu, District IV Honor Band Assoc., Baton Rouge Community Band, Baton Rouge Jazz Ensemble, & The Bayou Brass Quintet. She was selected as the Outstanding Bandmaster by La.’s Phi Beta Mu Fraternity & LBA. 
   She is married to Pat Bell & has two sons, Brady & Patrick,Jr.  Patrick & wife, Angie, have a daughter, Hagan.
