The chairman of the committees under my umbrella report that they are all in the process of organizing their activities and waiting for their efforts to come to fruition. Lion Patti Hill - Environmental Chairman, advises that no clubs responded in regards to selling water savers for toilet tanks. Lion Bob Grover - Youth Exchange Chairman, is looking for host families in mid December. Give him a call and enjoy the benefits of a new experience. Lion Al Lajoie - Youth Outreach Chairman, advises that there have been 4 Quest Workshops so far this Lionistic year.

This past month we were saddened with the loss of a dedicated lion in our region - Lion Claude Ryckman of the Fort Assiniboine Lions Club. Our sympathies to his club and family.

ONLY IN CANADA....

can a pizza get to your house faster than an ambulance.
do drugstores make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their prescriptions while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front
do people order double cheese burgers, large fries, and a diet coke
do banks leave both doors open and then chain the pens to the counters
do we buy hot dogs in packages of twelve and buns in packages of eight
do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering
Today's children would be less spoiled if we could spank grandparents.
