Get Well Wishes are extended to Lion Michael Senych, Secretary of Thorhild Lions Club. Lion Michael is recovering from surgery. The Lions Family of District 37B hope you are doing well. PDG "Griff & Heide Griffith MEMBERSHIP DUES What does our membership cost? Clubs are billed the following per member per year: ( CDN $ = $1.48 US ) Lions Clubs International dues: $24.00 U.S. Multiple District 37 $11.00 U.S. District 37B $ 5.73 U.S. TOTAL $40.73 U.S. which is $60.28 CDN District 37B dues as defined in the Constitution are allocated as follows: District Administration $3.20 U.S. Convention Fund $0.50 U.S. The remaining $2.03 US [which equals $3.00 CDN] is allocated as follows in CDN $ District Governor Fund 2.00 Northern Allowance Fund 1.00 If Clubs are not charging their members the full cost of membership, such Clubs are advised that no Activity Account funds are to be used to subsidize membership dues. Count Your Blessings If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep.....you are richer than 75% of this world. If you have money in the bank, in your wallet and spare change in a dish someplace.....you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy. If you woke up this morning with more health than illness..... you are more blessed than the million who will not survive this week. If you can attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture or death.....you are more blessed than three billion people in the world. If you can read this message..... you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read at all.
