Its offical, we finally have a pub gig in Wangaratta. The Grand Central has agreed to trial live bands in the upstairs esction of the pub. So all of you out there who are sick of seeing fucking covers bands play the same old shit, come out and see us and Scattered Sundays play ORIGINAL songs on September 11th. More details on the gigs page. The EP is also selling well, it is now available at Disclocation. We will be selling it at all gigs that I remember to bring them to as well. So we hope to see you all on Friday night.

Well despite getting a death threat at our sound check, the gig in Beechworth went well. We had a really good response from the locals and we played our first entirely original set, so we were stoked. The CD is getting a good response from those who have bought it, so you should too, hey, hey? Yeah, I'm a tool. Ok well i have night shift this week so i'm off. Hope to see you all at the Freeza gig at the end of the month.

The Albury gig was cancelled but we have a new one later in August. Rob is back so we are jamming properly again. The EP is ready to buy it is $5 currentlty you can buy it off us at anytime, we will have copies at all our gigs from now on too. It will also be available at Disclocation in Wangaratta, and the Music Man music shop in Wangarattta. It is also looking likely to be released through Bloodbank Records too.

We have begun to produce the cds!! We are producing them ourselves, so the next show you see us at you can purchase a copy, the price will be $5 or $6, we just have to figure out the final production costs. But hey, that's dirt cheap for 5 songs :) . You can get a taste of the new EP, which we are calling the 'Recalcitrant EP', here. There are new and better versions of Bullshit Answers and Forgotten to download. You'll have to get the cd to here the other songs, it'll be worth your while, we are very happy with th final result. You can buy the cd off us at shows or mail order it. The details for mail order will be figured out later. We'll let you know

Rob will be back in a few weeks and we have a gig in Albury on the 11th of July to celebrate. We are going to the studio on Friday to do the final mix on the EP, then we need to start making the covers and then you can buy it, it will be dirt cheap too! There will also be new mp3s up soon too, yay. Oh yeah, I'm getting a new ESP bass next week as well for all of you who care. See you all soon, we hope.

Josh, Rob and Evan went back to the studio last night and finished the recording, which was done. All the tracks have been laid down and its time for Damien, our sound engineer, to work his mastering magic. Hope fully we should have the finished product back in a week or two. We have also been talking with Albury based, Bloodbank Records, an independent distro/label. Our debut EP could be released through Bloobank or independently, we are yet to decide.
The whole site has a new colour scheme as you can tell. New rant added. I will try and write these more often.

Its been a long time since we've added any news, but truth be told, little happened has in the magical land of Recalcitrant in the last two months. Well unti last week that is. On the 24th (happy b-day PJ) and 25th of April we finally got organised and recorded 5 songs, top quality recording too. This will be released as our first official EP. The release date is unknown as of yet, but it won't be too long. We are getting them produced for a good price too so don't expect to have to pay too much fot the cd either. We are all excited about this coz you can finally listen to one of our songs and listen to every instrument properly!! In other news the gig at 'Good Morning Captain' in Collingwood has been and gone. Thanks to all who came to see us in that "intimate" venue. It was fun to play to a new audience and Fencehole rocked their muscle bound arses off too. I managed to crash my brothers car into the back of a Barina on the way to the gig as well. Rob will be going to QLD for a month from the 28th of May so hopefully we play a show before then.

The gig on Friday was awesome. Thanks to everyone that came to watch us play, it was amazing to have people singing our songs and to have a fucking awesome mosh pit too. We really appreciate the support. Recording is looking good to happen soon. We also have our first gig in Melbourne!! Cool hey? The Freeza gig is this friday, hope to see you all there, our set is towards the end of the night. We are planning to record a full length album soon, it will have 10 or 11 songs so look out for that soon.
