***The production team spent time in Greece and Turkey in the Summer of 1994 to get the feel of the ancient sites. They filled notebooks with sketches***

***Hercules was a 'Demi-God' which means Half Man, Half God***

***Animation on Hercules began early 1995 with a team of 700 artists, animators and technicians***

***The brilliant animation facility in Paris joined in the effort - providing 10 minutes of animation, these included the exciting finale where the rampaging Titans and Hercules go down into the Underworld***

***Disney's CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) Department helped create the spectacular 30 headed Hydra.(The monster that when you cut it's head off, more grow in it's place) This type of effect would not have been possible using traditional techniques. CGI also created morphing Olympian Clouds which formed Hercules' cot and Zeus' reclining chair for Zeus***

***Michael Bolton recorded "Go The Distance" for the end credits***

***Hercules is mythology's most often told tale and is a popular source of material for more than four decades with many film makers and television producers***
