This website is not created to mirror the official Dominican International School Taipei website and it is not meant to provide any more information than the official one either. This page is intended to store photos of events that have taken place in the school, so that anyone can view them easily at their convenience regardless of where they might be. Former students will have an opportunity to see their friends' latest pictures and have an idea of what's been going on in the school. Being an international school, students come and go, leaving old friends behind. I like to think that this is one way of recording some of the memorable events. I welcome any pictures relating to the students of the school and credit will be given to the contributor. This site is for all teachers, students, and their parents/relatives to share. There are so many pics in the following pages, so they make take a while to load, if you are using ordinary dial-up connection in Taiwan. If you are using cable or ADSL, you won't have that problem. If some of the pictures don't appear, please click the 'refresh' button on your browser. This site does not provide information on enrolment, school statistics or curriculum. Please feel free to visit the official Dominican International School Tpe website for that purpose. For folks who are not familiar to websites, all you have to do is click on highlighted or underlined words to go to the related site. One last thing.... | Who is the creator of this site?? Hi ! I am Patrick's mom. I have taken the liberty of setting this page up after realizing the school's official website does not have pictures of students or activities that have taken place in the school and on occasion outside as well when there were games/ sports events against other international schools in Taiwan. I have previously posted pics taken in 2000-2001 when Patrick was in Gr5 in my personal homepage . They are now in this website.. The pictures you will see are only of Patrick's class and maybe some students from the other classes. I am not a professional website builder/ designer, nor have I had any formal training on how to build webpages. Like many others, I learn as I go along. I welcome any comments, suggestions and pictures. This site is best viewed using IE5 and above. P/S: In case anyone is wondering, I do not get paid to build this website nor do I get paid each time you visit. This site is entirely free of charge and is hosted by Geocities. |

| 2nd July 2005: Since I am no longer living in Taiwan and my son is not studying in DIS anymore, I am unable to update this website without pictures and information on the latest happenings at the school. This site will, however remaiin as it is for the benefit of old student and for old times' sake. If anyone at the school would like to hv new pictures uploaded into this site, dont hesistate to send them to me with as much detail as you like. It was fun while it lasted :) |
