![]() The DiscPC is not available for purchase at this time. We are attempting to make this design known to the public for a few reasons. The market has proven that such a radically different computer design is possible, Apple has shown that over the years.- that they can see there is a market for such a type of computer design. Yes, the representatives from some big companies have said that nobody would actually want to buy such a computer Nobody?! Funny... Anyone ever look at the computer MOD market? Where people will spend $150~400 for a computer case and power supply. $500 for a video card. $50 for round cables, $50~$100 for lighting kits and more. And I guess nobody ever buys the $1500~2000 Apple iMacs that look like a upside down desk lamp? The DiscPC design was beginning its patent process long before the release of the desk-lamp iMac in 2001. Update: As of 2008, now Dell, Gateway and SONY have AIO computer - some for the past 2 years that are not original like the iMac or the DiscPC. The design of the DiscPC is both patented and copyrighted work, by visiting the site, you know that THE designer is by a man in Dallas Texas. Any unauthorized manufacturing of any round computer would be theft from a person who spent years working on this design, updating it, modernizing as new technologies came into market. The
DiscPC was never designed to have a built in Floppy Drive. The original
concept was always "Floating" above your desk, wireless keyboard
& mouse. a slot-loaded DVD/CDR drive (even before Apple used those
drives) and of course quick removable front and back bezels for custom
color replacements, like some cell-phones. It was always designed for
both home and office environments. Feel
