Main List

[4]
When you share a problem with someone, that problem ceases to be yours alone.

Some people ask for help as soon as problems arise, often avoiding responsibility, an easy way out indeed. Others are too proud to ask for help. But what peoole fail to understand is that we are meant to bear each other's burdens, according to our capacity.

Lord, let me discern my capacity to give and the need of my neighbor to receive. Each one has a problem to solve, a burden to bear. But let me share my neighbor's problem without being part of it. Let me share my own problem with others, without them becoming part of my problem. Let me be my brother's keeper, just as I want my brother to share my own.
