To make smelly seeds one will need an enchanted goat pellet and an ivy seed.
Ivy seeds can be accquired from the roof of the guild. To get there stand outside of the privy and "get undergrowth". Walk out to the paddock and find the nanny goat. "lead goat with undergrowth." When she follows you, walk back to outside of the privy. She'll search around in the undergrowth and find a ladder. Take the ladder to the back door and "lean ladder against wall". You can now go "up" to the roof where the raven is. "gather ivy seeds" over and over until you have as many as you think you will need. If the raven is spawned and alive, you can fly to him, too, saving you much trouble with the ladder. Most of the time the ladder is already leaned against the wall, though.
To obtain goat pellets, go to the leanto and "get pellet". Like the seeds, there's an unlimited supply. Enchant the pellet with Mother Twinter's Yarrow Enchantment, then "place an ivy seed in pellet". After a while, the pellet will explode leaving a smelly seed. I suggest that after you place the ivy seed in, you put the pellet in a container and move onto the next one.
