Phew! Just came back home yesterday from the 5 days

Date:  05-sep-03 4 night camp of the Singapore Polytechnic Concert Band
Time: 5:35pm IBM camp. I was considered a little lucky because i got
Mood: so-so to work on the first day of the camp which resulted me in
Weather:  cool only particapating a 4days 3night camp. Still it was tiring
Playing: Anata - L'arc~en~ciel as we have to play our instrument all the time. It was
Email: [email protected] something like the ITC(intensive training camp) of the
Singapore Polytechnic Guitarist Club but i got to say that
everything was more organised and filled with more fun.

Throughout the camp i got to wake up early with 30
others to perform for the Graduation Ceremony which
last for 3 days outside the new convention hall of SP.
The boredness of waiting for the guess to arrive resulted

Tetsu (b)

in a creation of a new song called the "GAN! Overture"

Well it is supposed to kept as a secret of what that
song means but haha it actually refers to a vulgarity! It
just reminds me during my secondary school band days
where we too have another set of notes that is actually
  linked to another vulgarity.

The camp showed me alot of experts in the band and
even those alumnis! It was something really eye opening
for me. For me that have stop playing trombone for 3
years, it was something difficult for me as i have to use
extra brain juice to read the bass clef and extra muscles
on my lipping. It is something really tiring to read the
bass clef when i got used to read the treble clef finally.

Hyde (v)

Haha but still i love the feeling of playing in a band. It

produces a more full sound then what a rock band could
  do.

I Believe in Music - tickets are selling! Have you got
yours yet? Trust me! It's going to be something good for
your ears! And some of the popular pieces played are

  • John William's Overture
  • Japanese Gravity 5
  • Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars
Email me or call me at 96747110 for tickets today!!!
