The History
My musical journey�s first step was the moment I stepped nervously into BIT-Mesra�s Music Club to appear for an audition. That was August 1996. Little did I know that this moment was to define the most cherished moments in my musical life. Not that I was not into music before this... I used to practice playing my keyboards every day for the last 3 to 4 years in school, however, my practice sessions were exclusively for my ears only. It was after this moment � my entry into the Music Club � that I started stage and studio performance.
The first of these was the BIT�otsav Feb 1997 � one of the best (musically) in the 4 years I was in college. This was soon followed up by quite a few other shows � Convocations, BIT�ostav�s, and just general Jam sessions.
Then came the next step... musical compositions. Six music gurus from the college got together to make music. Sandeep and Rama -  vocalists, Arnab - lead guitarist, Joy - rhythm guitarist, Tushar � Tablas Drums and Percussions and me on the keyboards. Our first recording was carried out over the span of two days, and resulted in some good songs, some not so good, and all with really bad mixing and mastering. The Album � christened �Rudrashka� - despite it�s flaws was a hit in BIT. My heartfelt thanks to everyone in the �94, �95, and �97 batches for buying this album, and a very very special thanks to �96 and �95.5 batch for the overwhelming faith and support! Unfortunately I do not have a single copy of this album, if you happen to, please do send me an email.
I currently use a Yamaha PSR-630. I had thuoght of upgrading to a more professional workstation, but I dont see the need, since these days,I use it mostly as a MIDI controller and use soft-synths.
