Vrind - Music Downloads
Well over the next couple of years, our band had differences of opinion and musical tastes, and we decided to split up into two separate bands, one with the aspirations of becoming a rock and metal oriented Indi Pop group (like Euphoria or Indus Creed), and the other, a more conventional, non-rock group. Predictably, our lead guitarist went to the former, while I ended up in the latter. The former name Rudrashka suggested a head banging, guitar smashing kind of group, so as far as I remember our rockers kept it for their new band. We were left with no name, but not for long. We soon decided on Vrind, which means A group or cluster in Sanskrit...pretty straightforward, right??
Anyways, so post the split, both the bands lost their college popularity, and neither could gather the funds to cut another album. I dont know what the rockers did, but we finally managed to beg, borrow (but not steal!), and make a budget recording in a cramped 8-track studio. Well these songs were mixed and mastered much better than the previous ones, full credit to our friend and recording engineer Jaykant.
I do have these songs with me. Click the links on the right side to download them. Please note that these are edited versions, copied from analog tape and converted to MP3-Pro. You can read more about the MP3-Pro format at

Songs
To get a decent sound quality, please use a player which supports MP3-Pro. Musicmatch Jukebox supports it, but Windows Media Player does not.
Song Clip - "Jaan E Jaan". Love ballad, with a great piano lead.
Song Clip - "Deewana". A fast paced Reggae-Fusion style song.
More... coming soon!!
