This is myths that exist in Plaju (Part of Palembang) surrounding.
Bagus Kuning Queen’s grave is in Stadion Patra Jaya, if you go to there you will see many monkeys surrounding that area, those monkey are Bagus Kuning Queen’s guardians or warriors.
Around her grave there are many monkeys that maybe to protect that grave.
Bagus Kuning Queen was one in authority of Plaju area, she was making an agreement with the one in authority of Musi river.
The agreement said like this “You can take any people as you want but, I give you some agreements
1. That people must a male.
2. He is not my generation, Bagus Kuning Queen said” and the on in authority of Musi river is agree with that.
The word “Generation” there that mentioned by Bagus Kuning Queen means all people that live in Patra Jaya until Hoktong alley.
Foreign peoples must be careful in this area because many prohibition that they may not do, such playing with the Musi river’s water, or swimming in Musi river, take bamboo in bagus kuning, disturb the monkeys, etc. if they did it there will be a big trouble come to them, may be they will sick, crazy or maybe die.
