Treesong
Treesong is a Nyphai's spell of bending a forest to their will. Bonded to the forest, the Nyphai are able to summon any plant life to do their bidding through song. Using her lute and voice, Neelahn is able to summon vines to attack, limbs to stretch, and trees to uproot. Treesong will usually disable an enemy or distract them without inflicting much harm, giving Neelahn an advantage to make another move. Treesong can also be used as a simple power distribution spell. Playing a slightly different song in a forest, she can absorb the power of he trees and distribute it to her allies or herself, giving them more energy for a short time.
Heated Temper
Heated Temper is a simple burning spell. Being a bonded tree spirit, Neelahn is reluctant to burn wood however has fond it somewhat necessary. Using her dagger to slice the meat of her thumb, a soft, fiery glow will burst forth from her palm, gaining the attention of whoever it is directed to. It can also be used to burn objects or life close to her. Her spell has taken a new power and now is able to burst from her palm towards her enemy at distances. The fireball is small, but still effective.
Poisonous Sap
Poisonous Sap is used in the same way as Heated Temper, only the effects are different. A sap will emerge from wherever she slices her palm, rather than blood. The poison will an enemy's skin to burn if it hits flesh. If the sap hits an open wound, the person hit will move more sluggishly and cause their vision to blur, impairing their aim. Any cloth in the way of the sap will singe and smoke. If the material is thin enough, it may be able to burn through the clothing.
Spider's Net
Sumoning her dagger to her aid, Neelahn uses her Spider's Net to send a sticky web towards her opponent, covering them. It is fairly easy to escape from, however it gives her time to plan her next move or to escape.
Blend
Concentrating near a tre or any type of brush, Neelahn is able to blend into her surroundings, confusing her enemy. She is nearly undetectable and "melts" into a tree, taking on its appearance. This is a very useful tactic for evasion. |
