And so you have reached the creator page. In this section you will learn far more than you cared to about Neelahn's creator, Loreena.
Firstly, allow me to intoduce myself. My name is Laurelle and I am Neelahn's structural creator. The idea for the character came to me from a friend of mine. I had only recently learned a nymph's abilities and was fascinated by them. My friend lent me a book which described the amazing beings and from there I sought to create my own race.
The first drawing of Neelahn started on a napkin in a travel agency. Which plane we would be taking to Mexico did not interest me, so I began to draw on a Dunkin Donuts napkin to pass the time. The drawing was crude and rough, but her basic outline was formed. Keeping the napkin, I began to notcie all the details missing from her body.
Over the next week or so, I had drawn at least eight different pictures of her, trying to figure out just who and what she was. The friend I mentioned earler noticed the drawing and thought it looked like a water nymph. I immediately realized what I could create from her and began. This was three years ago.
Recently, another friend of mine introduced me to Althanas and I thought it theperfect place to introduce my character and create more depth to her. So far it has been working quite nicely and I do believe she's shaping to be a good character.
Some qualities of Neelahn come from my own. hile the age may be quite far off, the height and weight are the same. Her long, sweeing hair is what I am trying to achieve myself and though the picture above shows my hair short, it has since grown out over a year.
Neelahn's love for her instrument comes from my own experience at playing he flute. Though sheis a much skilled player than I am at any instrument, the original idea came from my own.
The idea for Neelahn's lover, Meric, was from a previous relationship I had in which fantasy existed more than reality. While the basis for her lover was fom my own, I dare say she managed to keep hers longer by about a margin of five hundred winters.
