About Me

Hey there, thanks for stopping by.  As you might have guessed, this is my "About Me" page, so I'll give you a little spiel about myself.  I was born in Mission Viejo, CA and have lived in Southern California all my life.  My family currently lives in Escondido, near San Diego.  I attended Santa Margarita Catholic High School (Class of 2000), and am currently a senior at UC Davis, studying Genetics (or "playing God" as some like to put it) - here's my Spring 2004 Schedule.  I am a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Phi Sigma Society (see my certificate).  This past winter I started working as an undergraduate researcher in the lab of Dr. Ted Powers in the Molecular and Cellular Biology Dept. on campus, and so far it's been a very rewarding and educational experience.  Right now my tentative plan is to graduate, take a year off to work, then go back to school to obtain my Master's Degree (in biology, genetics, or forensic science - see my resume).  I thought I might want to pursue a PhD, but I'll have to see where I'm at when the time comes.  When I'm not overstressing about school, I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Dominick, going to bars with my friends, working out, going to the movies, watching wrestling, and playing my Game Cube.  Occasionally I write poetry and draw, but don't have a whole lot of time for that anymore.  Anyway, if you'd like to read more about my interests, please visit my Interests page (what a concept, :-D).

I'm thinking about adding something else to this page - more pics maybe?  Send me your suggestions!
