Myself 

I hail from the Thiruvananthapuram district of the beautiful state of Kerala in India, right now living with my wife Praseeda in Washington State, US. Both of our parents are settled in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Before moving to California, I lived in India's Silicon Valley, Bangalore for close to 3 years. I got engaged to Praseeda in May 2000 at Thiruvananthapuram. Later, we got married in the December of 2000 at Sumangali Kalyanamandapam, Thiruvananthapuram. Boy, what a day that was!

Education

I did all my schooling in Thiruvananthapuram, at N.S.S Public School Perunthanni till the 6th grade and then St. Mary's H.S, Pattom till the 10th. Then I joined Mar Ivanios College for my pre university in 1992. I chose to go for Engineering in Electronics and Communication and joined the prestigious College of Engineering (CET) at Kulathoor, again in Thiruvananthapuram, where I met my wife Prasee. I was in CET from 1994-1998.

Career 

I am working with Microsoft Corporation at Redmond, WA now as a team lead. I have been with Microsoft since June 2001, first with Microsoft TV in Mountain View, CA and now with Windows Client Division. And, for those who care, I have worked on a multitude of technologies from COM+ to .Net to C# to ASP.Net to SQL 7.0 and operating systems ranging from Win2k Server to Advanced Server to Windows XP to Windows Server 2003. Well, 'where else do you want to go today?'

Prior to joining Microsoft, I was with Novell Inc., Bangalore, India as a Senior Software Engineer for close to 2 and a half years, and this was my first job.I had been primarily working with ActiveX, JavaBeans, C++ and VB when 'The network was Novell'!

Hobbies

As for my hobbies, I never had a single hobby that I can attach myself entirely to. So I'll list the things that I enjoyed doing very much and the things that I enjoy doing now. These are, in no particular order, photography, bird watching, singing, organizing things, visiting scenic places, enjoying nature etc.. And, did I tell you that I am acrophobic? I guess this is fair enough a reason why hand-gliding, sky-diving and bungee jumping aren't among my hobbies!
