Uktar (November) 19

    I laid there for a few hours until I fell asleep.
     I was woken up by Thorlan. "You ok, Dilan?"
     I sat up. "I think so."
     Thorlan said, rubbing his neck "I am going to hurt that wizard. He better hope I don't see him again."
     I laughed "I know how you feel." I stand up as Jinol walks over, and hands me my swords.
     Thorlan said "Now let's go see if we can find your halfling friend."
     I said "Good idea." We leave going back to Shadowdale, not knowing where to search for Sinlon.

Nightal (December) 11

    We arrived in Shadowdale and met back up with Ranger. Ranger said "Did you find Sinlon?"
     I said "No, but he already escaped his captor."
     Ranger said "How do you know?"
     Thorlan said "We had to battle him."
     Ranger said "How did it go?"
     I said "We lost. How did your mission go?"
     Ranger said "We had to escort someone to Cormyr."
     I said "Escort service, huh? No battles involved?"
     Ranger smiled "I wouldn't say that."
     I said "What happened?"
     Ranger said "Me and my friend, Meltor, was escorting a young woman to Cormyr, but we had to deal with Sembian assassins."
     I said "Sounds like fun."
     Ranger said "It was." Ranger starts walking off, saying "Come on, you can meet Meltor. I'm supposed to meet him in the tavern."
     We all head for the tavern. We talk for a few hours and Ranger said "I gotta get home. Angela will be worried about me."
     I said "How's she doing?"
     Ranger said "Ok, but I haven't seen her since I went on that mission. I sent a messenger to tell her I would be home tonight. Why don't you come with me?"
     We all go to Ranger's house. When we got there, Angela hugs Ranger tightly. �From now on, when you get done with a mission, don't send a messenger here. When I answered the door, I thought he was giving me bad news. I thought you were dead or something."
     Ranger said "I'm sorry, I won't do it again." then he kissed his wife. "By the way, where are the kids?"
     Angela said "They're at my sister's." Anglea fixed a big dinner, with my help.

     The next morning. I was getting ready to leave. "I'm going to Baldur's Gate, you coming with me?"
     Ranger said "Sure, it would be nice to see the family again."
     Angela said "Count me in."
     I said "Anyone else?"
     Thorlan said "I'll travel with you for a while, but there's something I need to tend to."
     I said "Ok, we'll split up and meet back up in Waterdeep."
     Meltor said "I'm going to travel with Thorlan."
     I said "What about you Jinol?"
     Jinol said "I'm staying around here to look for Sinlon."
     I said "Ok, good luck." We headed out.

Nightal (December) 19

    Me, Ranger, Angela, and the kids arrive at our parent�s house. We get a warm welcome as usual.
     As we're talking, I said "Where's Tempest?"
     Dad said "She moved out on her own. She said, she wanted to find you two."
     Mom said "I only have one child left at home now. What am I going to do when she leaves?"
     Dad put his arm around his wife. "Then we'll finally have the house to ourselves."
     Mom thought about it, then pulled Sildora to her face. "Hurry up and grow up."
     I said "Dad, that's not a picture I wanted in my head."
     We spent time at home and soon headed off to Waterdeep, to meet up with Thorlan and Meltor.
